I, a universe of atoms, an atom in the universe.
Richard P Feynman
The invitation is about participation, not mere observation. We are not journeying in the universe but with the universe. We are not concerned about living in an evolving world but co-evolving with our world. We are parts of a whole, much greater than the sum of its parts, and yet within each part we are interconnected with the whole.
Diarmuid O’Murchu
Underneath this universal matter, is vibrant energy.
Oscillating at various speeds and densities, this energy becomes all things visible, invisible, created, imagined and yet to be.
Bold and ever re-creating, it is the universe in its entirety, it is God experiencing Herself.
Annie Zalezsak
Every day the existence of the universe depends on whether you care enough to create it.
from Remember Your Essence, by Paul Williams (see works by Paul Williams )
We may exist in all universes, but ‘hear’ only one because of our limitations, the valve of our desires, our practical, physical needs. All is vibration, with nothing vibrating across no distance whatsoever. All is music. A universe, a world, is just one long difficult song. The difference between worlds is the difference between songs.
from The Infinity Concerto, by Greg Bear (see The Infinity Concerto and other works by Greg Bear )
The physical universe that you see is all in your mind. When you turn your mind off, or become unconscious, the physical universe, for you, disappears. Then, when you awaken your consciousness, the universe reappears magically. Quite simple really – no thoughts on your part, no physical world. As Walt Whitman succinctly stated: “The whole theory of the universe is directed unerringly to one single individual – namely to You.” Without your mind to process it, the universe simply disappears into nothingness.
from Real Magic, by Wayne Dyer (see works by Wayne Dyer )
Everything is a gift of the universe - even joy, anger, jealously, frustration, or separateness. Everything is perfect either for our growth or our enjoyment.
Ken Keyes Jr (1921-1995) American author (see works by Ken Keyes )
Send out love and harmony, put your mind and body in a peaceful place, and then allow the universe to work in the perfect way it knows how.

Twenty years ago, a friend gave me a gift of a small model of the world set inside an onyx cube. For a while I carried it with me everywhere I went. I will never forget it. It helped me remember that the world is really very small and that life is on that little world. To be larger than that image was not hard. When next you meditate, see the planet Earth in the palm of your hand. Imagine all the people on that little earth. Then take that image and place it in your heart. Enliven it by seeing it orbit ‘round the sun. Before long, the world and its events shrink to their real size, and you expand to fill out the infinity that you really are.
from The Trick to Money Is Having Some!, by Stuart Wilde (see more works by Stuart Wilde )
… perhaps there is a pattern set up in the heavens for one who desires to see it, and having seen it, to find one in himself.
Plato (see works by and about Plato )
Above us, the galaxies dance out towards infinity. Under our feet is ancient earth. We are beautifully moulded from this clay. Yet the smallest stone is millions of years older than us. In your thoughts, the silent universe seeks echo. An unknown world aspires towards reflection.
from Anam Cara, Spiritual Wisdom from the Celtic World (p14), by John O’Donohue
In detachment lies the wisdom of uncertainty... in the wisdom of uncertainty lies the freedom from our past, from the known, which is the prison of past conditioning. And in our willingness to step into the unknown, the field of all possibilities, we surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the universe.
Deepak Chopra (see works by Deepak Chopra )
Do you know that the universe is always listening to your vibrational offering? As you sit in meditation you are sending a communication to the universe. As you walk down the street you are sending a communication to the universe. What is the quality of your communication, are you offering peace or disturbance, joy or regret, vision or uncertainty? There is no right or wrong vibration but if you want to live a more joyful and inspiring life then you may want to create a little daily practise around uplifting your core vibrational tone.
Steve Nobel
In order to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first create the universe.
